Gite Ardennais is a fine, cozy cottage in the countryside in the picturesque village of Fraiture, centrally located in the Belgian Ardennes, certainly suitable for large family groups or groups of friends with children up to 16 people.
Gite Ardennais is quietly located in the beautiful area of the ski run Baraque de Fraiture, second highest peak of the Ardennes.
The ski slope has the descent in the village of Fraiture, cottage is within walking distance, 200 meters.
During the winter months, possible if there is snow, day outside enjoy skiing or also departure for day cross-country skiing. Small ski slope for children. All equipment can be rented on the slopes.

During summer months, in hot weather look for refreshment on or near the water. Day canoeing on the Ourthe or reservoir of Nisramont, outdoor swimming at Maboge or indoor in the tropical pool of Vielsalm or Houffalize.

The area is ideal for nature lovers, peace seekers, sporty mountain bikers, cyclists and hikers. Directly from the nature house there leave beautiful tours, see in the app Komoot.
There are also several trips in the area with the little ones, such as the amusement park Plopsa Coo, or Park Chlorofyl, an animal park, near a beautiful playground on the ski slope of Baraque de Fraiture, see photo at "tips for the landlord".
