Le Relais de la Fagne stands atop the Plateau des Fagnes and is surrounded by woodland, hiking trails, ski and cross-country ski slopes. It is a stone's throw from the Baraque de Fraiture, one of the highest points in the Belgian Ardennes. With a capacity of up to 36 people and ample parking, it is the ideal place for families, groups and associations. There are 16 bedrooms, each with its own toilet and bathroom.
Its location makes it an excellent base for exploring the Eastern Ardennes. The house is located on the Route des Fagnes making it easily accessible even in winter. La Roche-en-Ardenne, Durbuy, Vielsalm and Houffalize are part of the region.
Le Relais de la Fagne used to be an Ardennes inn and this cozy atmosphere still radiates from the vacation home. In the former taproom you can hang out at the bar, chill out in the armchairs and have a nice meal together. Those in the adjacent spacious professional kitchen need not miss anything of the ambiance.
Because the bar, lounge and dining room form one space, you can easily have fun together with the whole group. Ambiance is assured because with the JBL PartyBox you can stream your own music there via Bluetooth. So it's ideal for a karaoke night, a spaghetti party or a dance night. If there is a pianist in the party, he will immediately transform our lounge into a café chantant. And after a communion party, a wedding party or a birthday, don't worry about one too many glasses because you can go straight to your comfortable room with its own shower and toilet.
In the recreation room, you can play pool and kickball with a view of nature. And those who want to isolate themselves with a comic or a book, or to play a board game, to play cards or to plan tomorrow's walk, can go to one of the relaxation rooms. The little ones also have their own play corner.
When the weather is nice, you can of course barbecue. And all that while the kids are having fun on our vast grounds with dug-in trampoline and outdoor playground.

"Fantastisch familieweekend"

Wij hebben een fantastisch familieweekend achter de rug. Super gezellig huis waar alles aanwezig is wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben. Elke kamer heeft eigen sanitair, wat overigens super proper is! Aangezien we reeds 4 generaties in onze familie hebben, was het niet simpel om een huis te vinden dat aan ieders wensen voldoet. Dit huis was echter geschikt voor zowel onze jongsten (3 jaar) als voor onze oma (93 jaar). Alsook een prachtige omgeving en uitzicht uit elke kamer.

Prachtig huis in een rustige groene omgeving, we gaan er al enkele jaren naar toe met de hele familie, iedereen gezellig bijeen en toch aparte kamers met sanitair. Volledig uitgeruste keuken uitermate geschikt voor grote gezelschappen. Veel ruimte, spelletjes voor kinderen, en voor grotere kinderen. Alles zeer proper, goed onderhouden. Het huisje in de tuin en de trampoline zijn top. Mooie omgeving om te wandelen, zeer divers. Aan de skipiste op ongeveer een kilometer wandelen is er ook een grote speeltuin en een cafetaria met prachtig uitzicht. Aan het rond punt op 500 metere is een prima restaurant/frituur, snellader, café etc. Naar de bakker gaan we in Lierneux, een aanrader.

Heel gezellig huisje, leuke wandeling gemaakt in de buurt :) gezellige bar. Wij hadden het geluk dat het net sneeuwde dus hebben we ook veel sneeuwplezier gehad. Zeker een aanrader!!

"Alles erop en eraan"

Een heel leuk huis met alles erop en eraan: een goed uitgeruste keuken, gezellige eethoek, bar met alle mogelijke glazen...Recent gerenoveerd, kamers en sanitair dik in orde, tuin eveneens. De slaapkamers hebben allemaal hun eigen badkamer en toilet, alles zeer netjes en in goede staat. De trampoline in de tuin had veel succes bij de kleintjes.

"Het perfecte huis voor een grote groep"

Het perfecte huis om met een grote groep naartoe te gaan. Elke kamer heeft eigen sanitair. Onze wandeling vertrok ook aan het huis. Je bent onmiddellijk van de grote baan weg. Goed uitgeruste keuken met voldoende materiaal. Toffe bar om 's avonds de tijd door te brengen.
