Holiday property - De Woestijn

De Woestijn is a holiday farm with 2 lodgings. De Schuur is a very comfortable holiday home, suitable for up to 10 people. There are 3 bedrooms, with private bathroom and toilet.
We can also accommodate a smaller group. From the summer of 2025, we will expand with an extra holiday home Den Ast for four people (opening summer 2025), located in a former stable building that served as a drying attic. With the same look&feel and blissful comfort.
These two lodgings are located separately from each other. Lots of privacy and yet very close. You can find prices and availability at Our website or via Our e-mail address.
These both have cosy and beautifully equipped kitchens with all the trimmings, and spacious bright breakfast and relaxation areas. In a sitting area overlooking the fields and valleys of the Pajottenland you can watch TV or read books and comics.
Outside there is a nice terrace with garden furniture. In fine weather, you can use the bbq here. In the backyard, you can take a refreshing dip in the pool or simply enjoy the view over the orchards and the silence.
Bicycles you bring with you have a place in the locked storage room. Electric bikes can be charged. You can also rent bikes (on request).
Brussels is 20 km away, perfect for a day trip, but there is plenty to do here in Pajottenland. For example, you can go hiking or cycling among the orchards and vineyards (maps and hiking guides available). Scooters or vespa tours are also possible!

"Bestaat de Hemel op aarde?"

In de Woestijn ontmoetten we in alle geval één van de engelen... Op de top van een heuvel leefden we drie dagen in een aarts- en aards paradijs. We fietsten 150 km in een prachtige streek en kwamen elke avond thuis. De warmte kwam niet alleen van een voorzichtige zon maar vooral van Ilse en Pieter die niet alleen een prachtig verblijf met ons deelden maar vooral hun hart en dit met een aanstekelijke energie die ons ook vleugels gaf. We vlogen iets dichter bij de Hemel en hopen van de rust en de bezieling mee te nemen naar onze plek in de drukte van onze stad. Dank je voor alles en tot wederziens!

We hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf in BnB De woestijn. Mooie, ruime en nette kamer, een lekker ontbijt met streekproducten. En een lieve, vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Een prachtige en stijlvol gerenoveerde hoeve met mooie tuin en zwembad in een mooie omgeving.

"fantastisch weekend met het gezin"

Genoten van een fantastisch weekend met het gezin. Het interieur is prachtig, de bedden zijn top en het hele huis is kraaknet. Het ontbijt zit vol met streekproducten en de speciale eitjes zijn een voltreffer. Fantastische gastheer en gastvrouw,… kortom verdient een dikke 10!

Wij, Kees en Dagmar uit Rotterdam, vonden het een zalig verblijf. Het hele gebouw, een voormalige schuur is met heel veel zorg en oog voor detail helemaal verbouwd. Originele delen zijn in stand gehouden, waardoor het een authentieke sfeer ademt. Het is heerlijk rustig en het uitzicht is super vrij. In de ochtend mochten wij genieten van een overvloedig ontbijt! Er ontbreekt werkelijk aan niets; ook wij met onze gluten-en lactose allergie kwamen aan niets te kort. Je voelt dat de eigenaren met hun ziel en zaligheid dit project met veel enthousiasme en idealisme. Last but not least hebben ze dit project met eigen handen gerealiseerd. Chapeau!

B&B De Woestijn is the place to be en een echt pareltje om te verblijven. De goedlachse en welbespraakte uitbaatster verraste ons ‘s morgens met een zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt met hoofdzakelijk streekproducten. De ligging van de b&b is echt wel adembenemend mooi, zeker het zicht vanop het terras. Het verwarmde zwembad is de kers op de taart. Dus zeker voor wandelaars, fietsers, levensgenieters, natuurliefhebbers en rustzoekers een echte aanrader.
